Music fans (suck)

The other night I was listening to the radio and everything sounded so... blah. So I decided to go online and discover new (to me, at least) bands. Amazon plays samples of songs, so I went there. I realized I had no idea what music was new to me, so I went to the suggested lists, where people gloat their 'amazing' cd collections...
and let me tell you, music fans, ESPECIALLY punk rock fans, are the meanest, most annoying and judgemental people EVER! All they ever do is bad mouth music that doesn't make it on to their 'acceptable lists' and the people that listen to them. I can guarantee you, they aren't as holy and all knowing as they think they are, they probably listened to all that music they're hating on like last year, until someone they wanted to impress told them it was made by sell outs, or 'not real punk,' or what ever other insult they like.
One band I noticed that was often dissed was Blink-182, which happens to be one of my favorite bands. I can admit, they have lost some of their former greatness, and its a bit shameful they make more off of merchandising than their music, but I do remember that I have liked them, and I know I'm not capable of playing or writing like they do, so I shouldn't judge them. Besides, people say they hate them for changing their sound on the last CD. What were they supposed to do, keep remaking the same songs?
Anyway, I am not one to put down bands I like just because other people are. I even stand by music I now realize isn't genius, or even bad. I will proudly stand and say it!

I LIKED THE SPICE GIRLS!
I KNOW EVERY WORD TO EVERY SONG ON THE GOOD CHARLOTTE CD!
and I LIKED THE NEW AND LAST BLINK - 182 CD!!!

and I still do. Every once in awhile I've been known to rock out to a Backstreet Boys CD in my headphones, even if I tell people its The Ramones.
