I love seeing my friends so much, I can't believe I survived summer without them...
I went to Emily's pool party today, at which I saw Emily, of course, Kenton, Haleh, Cat, Julia, Gorak (haha i can NOT believe that caught on) and Neil. If you are Ali and you are reading this, WHERE WERE YOU???? >_<

Anyway, it was tres cool swimming (and hottubbing, oh la la!), having HOTT lezzy sex w/ julia and cat, talking, and generally messing around with mi amigos!

I AM SOOOOO PSYCHED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!! (Wow I'm a weird kid...)

sThings are coming along... tho not nicely.

Alo there friends and monkeys:

I stayed up really late last night. This webcomic that Kenton recommended called questionable content ( http://questionablecontent.net/archive.php ) I like a lot, but it's really Indie music oriented, and often mocks the music I like. I'd been keeping a list of all the bands mentioned in the comic, none of which I had ever heard of. Finally last night I went onto Amazon to sample the bands, and I'll tell you, they're different... but hella good! Amazon does free legal downloads on some bands, so I went through the list and downloaded whatever legalness had to offer me. I came up with a KickAss CD, listed here:

1. Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) - The Arcade Fire
2. The Engine Driver - The Decemberists
3. NYC - Interpol
4. He's A Mighty Good Leader - Beck
5. Hundred Stories - Aloha
6. Believo! - Enon
7. Lua - Bright Eyes
8.Without MSG I Am Nothing - McLusky
9. 2 Rights Make 1 Wrong - Mogwai
10. Banquet - Bloc Party
11. All My Friends - Pavement
12. In A Funny Way - Mercury Rev
13. Gold Mine Gutted - Bright Eyes
14. Freak Scene - Dinosaur Jr
15. He War - Cat Power

A Reminder - All of these songs are free, legal downloads on Amazon.com, but if you go to Lakewood I will gladly burn you this very CD and bring it Tuesday. For that matter, if I do happen to owe you any CDs I said I'd burn you a millenia ago, (that goes double for Lauren and Cacia, I owe you guys like a million CDs) I shall burn them ready to distract you in math the very first day!

In other news, I've been practicing my cello for a grand total of NINE hours today, to be ready for my damn chair audition the first day of school... This music is so hard I could cry... especially that damn E minor scale... I think I much deserve this BlogBreak, just as I much deserve...

A CHERRY PUSH POP THAT ISNT SPRING LOADED!!!! finally, i get cherry-flavored goodness that i have to administer by me lonesome!

S'bout all, back to tortu... i mean practice.

Randomess #1

Today I'm feeling WAY random as can be, I can't seem to focus right on anything...

I finished a Jumbo Cherry Push Pop in an hour. I feel a bit sick. That freaking push pop was spring loaded. What is the point of buying a push pop if i don't even get to push it myself? Was some little fat kid too lazy to push his own pop? *heh, dirty minds have fun with that sentence.*
If i didn't want to push my pop, I'd have bought a friggen sucker...

I'm getting bored of my name... I think I should change it to something cooler. I'm thinking maybe Raven... cept not as in 'that's so...' even tho that show is okay... CONTEST ALERT!
THINK OF A BETTER NAME FOR ME IN A COMMENT AND I'LL GIVE YOU A NICKEL!

Now I'm chatting online with Azael (Gwen) and Kenton... He has a really good name for me... Nicoleta. It's all sexy and russian like. But Aaron says it sounds too much like nicotene.

Smoking is gross.

I wonder how cottonmouth snakes feel about being named after an allergy medicene side-affect.

My random brain leaves you with a random ayli quote.

"go in the sandwich and make me a kitchen "

-Kayla, who just got really bored.

To-Do - Back 2 School edition

1. Get a fresh supply of black and red Pilot pens. Only they will suffice. Others will be smushed.

2. Aquire new stacks of tabloids with which to make my binders look cool by means of collage.

3. Maybe find out when that pesky 'registration' is, and then see if there are any of the
textbooks i was supposed to buy happen to be lying around.

4. See if there is any hope for my comatose iPod to be working by school, as I just blew $50 bucks on a portable stereo system for my locker. *bangs empty wallet on head*

5. Attempt to recall specks of Algebra II, which I happened to have almost failed.

6. Take a whack at repairing my backpack, and maybe draw on it with some fresh silver sharpie.

7. Oh yeah, I want the rainbow sharpies like Annie has, too.

8. Accumulate hideous rumors of terror with which to terrify the incoming freshman I know with.

9. Get a new cell phone, as whilst I was away my parents Joyfully switched our service provider, thus rendering my favorite and coolest cell phone ever useless. Camera phone, you will be missed.

10. Wasn't there some kind of 9 essays I was supposed to be doing?

- Kayla, who chooses not to be prepared because thats what boy scouts do and boy scouts are creepy and being smote by God.

All These Humans and Not a Bite to Eat...

Hello faithful web-zombies -

Call me crazy, but I don't like summer vacation. It's too easy to be ignored when there are no people around. It's really just an excuse to not have to talk to somone for two and a half months and then still have them like you when you get back to school. Can you imagine what would happen if you didn't speak to your friend from September to Mid-December? While in school, namely? Lines of communication would permanently be downed, never to be re-established.

It is something a few of my close friends know about me; I cannot stand being ignored. Hate me, fine, bitch me out, great, at least you acknowledge me and that you have an opinion about me. It sucks to be ignored by those you don't like; its one-hundred times worse to think someone is a really close friend and then for them to never acknowledge you as as close as you may feel to them. That exact senario has been plaguing me for the whole summer. My game plan is when school starts again I can be obnoxiously obviously present. Because I am just cool like that.

And then there was LIFE

Yes, friends and stalkers, it is finally come to pass. My parents have re-bestowed upon me the sacred rite of... internet!!!

As my first act of joining the fake world, I read Kenton's blog. And somehow it reminded me that I have a place out there where I used to talk to the world. It was called a blog. So with the new Kentonian inspiration under my belt, I started off on my retelling of my life and thoughts. haha, you are screwed.

So If you know me at all, you prolly know that I spent the last 2 weeks at my favorite place in the world, SEP. I would try to explain why its so special, but i tried to explain to my friend Travis and I think his head fell off. In short, it is a camp built for us 'smart' nerds to come and frolick with other nerds. Everyone there accepts you, and its a weird feeling, but its nice too. I made some crazy good friends, was introduced to some great books and music, hyper extended my knee so i couldnt walk on it for 2 days w/o crazy limpage, and I shoved Jello into places my roomate didnt know she had. Good times, good times.

And now to avoid the whole making you all read too much thing, I'll depart.
